Our density was 2.8375. We think it is aluminum.
The length of this object is 4 centimeters tall and 2 centimeters wide. Using water displacement, we figured out the density (which is stated above). The metal block was a shiny silver color. we found out the density by dividing mass by volume and got about 22.53.
Derived Quantities :
formulas volume = length x width x height
density = mass / volume

metal brick volume = 4 x 2 x 1= 8ml
density = 22.7 / 8 = 24 grams/cm3
